Welcome to Our Website!!!
Thank you for visiting our website. Pillow is a small historic town of about 300 residents and 30 acres of land surrounded by the Mahantango Creek and the Mahantango Mountains. The town was founded in 1818 by John Snyder, and named Scheidershtettle. It was later incorporated as Uniontown and locally know as Pillow, the official name of the post office. We have a wonderfully colorful history that you can learn more about on the Pillow Historical Society website.
Our goal of this website is to provide a news and information resource for our residents, and a picture of what life is like in “Small Town America”. Please look around and enjoy!
