Welcome to Our Website

Thank you for visiting our website.  We are a small historic town of 300 residents and 30 acres of land surrounded by the Mahantango Creek and the Mahantango Mountains.  The town was founded in 1818 by John Snyder, and named Scheidershtettle.  It was later incorporated as Uniontown and locally known as Pillow,  the official name of the post office.  We have a wonderfully colorful  history that you can learn more about on the Pillow Historical Society web site and on the About Pillow page on this site.

Our goal with this web site is to provide a news and information  resource for our residents, and a picture of what life is like in" Small Town America".  You can contact our Mayor and our town council through the
Contact Us  page.
